Laser FAQ

Glock polymer is the gold standard for a fabulous laser stipple look and feel. When someone wants a stipple job on a frame other than Glock, they usually bring me a picture of a Glock frame and expect the same results, which will not happen. Therefore, I only laser Glock frames. They have the best results and the happiest customers.

Unfortunately, no. The polymer in an 80 frame does not have the same results of the Glock polymer. Rather than have unhappy customers and unsatisfactory results, I only stipple Glock frames.

Simply box up your project, including either a written note describing what you’d like to have done or print off our fillable pdf and include it in your package. Please note, we are an FFL; however, there is no requirement for you to use an FFL to ship your item to us or to receive it once the project is completed. Our shipping address is: Branson Cerakote and Laser, 131 Industrial Park Drive, Suite 3, Hollister, MO 65672.

Our turnaround time is 4-6 weeks if you are having both laser work and Cerakote. For laser work alone, we work hard to get our projects out within a 2 week timeframe, unless otherwise indicated. If there is a change in this estimate, we will contact you. Project lead time does not start until your project and coating are in the shop and all design revisions are completed.

Prior to lasering, I will send you a proof of the design superimposed digitally on your project. Once I’ve got your approval, I will laser your project. This step eliminates mistakes by having you and I both scrutinize the layout. If I make a mistake, I will fix it! I do not want unhappy customers 🙂

That all depends on the logo and the size you want it lasered. A good rule of thumb…put your logo on your computer screen the size it will be on your project. The smaller the area, the less detail you’ll see. That being said, I do need to have your logo in black and white to have the best results. If you have the file in a vector format, even better!
